In the south of the federal state of Brandenburg lies the small district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz, a beautiful and varied holiday region.
If you travel around the district, you can discover more than 20 artificial lakes that were created by flooding former open-cast mining areas. A charming region that is still changing, so it is always worth discovering it anew.
The district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz is criss-crossed by hiking and cycling trails that lead through mixed forests, meadows and, of course, the Spreewald.
Excursion tips in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district
Do you have a bucket list full of things you’d like to experience? One of the items on mine for example is “unusual accommodation”. And a treehouse I’d say counts as unusual accommodation.
