Short Transfer to a Grand Five-Star Welcome
A major plus point of the hotel complex is its location. After arriving at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, the transfer takes only about 10 minutes to the hotel grounds. For us, a clear advantage. The only downside to the proximity to the airport: depending on the wind direction, the noise of aircraft taking off or landing was occasionally audible.
The hotel is located in the first row on the Red Sea and has its own section of the beach. With 1,642 rooms, the entire complex is very large.
Our room was located in the hotel area of the Radamis Tirana, so we were brought to the lobby of this specific section.
What a huge lobby! Comfortable seating groups, a massive terrace, a bar, and of course, the reception. It was immediately apparent here: we have arrived in luxury. Modern design, marble, and high-quality furnishings gave a first impression of what to expect in the hotel complex. Admittedly, I was a bit overwhelmed at first and didn’t quite know where to look, but the welcome was so warm that I immediately felt at home.
After check-in, we headed to our room. The luggage was brought directly to the room, and we were driven in a golf cart to building entrance number 15.
Our Room Check
Our room was on the 2nd floor of the multi-story building. A incredibly beautiful room! Luxurious, perfectly designed, and colorful – exactly the right place for a relaxing vacation.
First, a look at the bathroom. A highlight: the huge, walk-in shower. The water temperature needed a brief moment in the morning to be ideal—but was then wonderful.
The room is divided into two areas. In one area stands the huge and super comfortable bed. We slept excellently; whether that was due to the premium bedding or the relaxation factor kicking in, I cannot say.
A plus point for us was the huge closet with an integrated safe. It was so large that a laptop fit inside without any problems – you don’t often find that in hotel resorts! In the rear area of the room, there is a large sofa and a well-stocked complimentary minibar. From here, you access the large balcony. We had a great view of the pool area and could even see the Red Sea!
From Deluxe Room to Private Pool Villa
During a tour of the hotel (including the Radamis Blue Planet area), we had the opportunity to see other rooms. The selection ranges from elegant standard rooms and large family rooms to luxurious suites and private villas with their own pools. All accommodations are generously sized, modernly furnished, and feature balconies or terraces with views of the gardens, the pools, or the sea.
A definite highlight is the private villas with multiple bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), a huge living area, and a private pool. This is truly pure luxury.

14 À-la-carte Restaurants: A Culinary World Tour
One of the most outstanding features of the Rixos Radamis is the culinary variety on offer. The resort boasts 3 buffet restaurants, 14 à-la-carte restaurants, cafés, bars, and lounges (including a beach bar, pool bars, and even an Irish Pub). Two additional restaurants are not included in the All-Inclusive concept.
For breakfast, we went to the Sapphire Main Restaurant every morning. Not only is the breakfast buffet served here from 7 AM, but a large buffet is also offered for lunch and dinner.
The offering at breakfast was excellent. Starting from fresh fruit and vegetables to freshly prepared hot dishes like omelets or pancakes. The selection was so vast that I found it hard to decide. Additionally, there were always water, juices, tea, and coffee variations available. Definitely no one needed to leave here hungry.
One day, we also ate lunch at the Sapphire. The huge salad buffet particularly appealed to me. I didn’t need anything else to satisfy my slight hunger. The selection and quality of the hot dishes also impressed us.
In the evening, hotel guests are spoiled for choice. Every guest can, of course, eat in the buffet restaurants. However, the Ultra All-Inclusive concept also offers the possibility to dine à-la-carte. You must reserve a table well in advance, as this option is very popular.
The selection of restaurants is diverse: Mediterranean, Seafood, Italian, Asian, Mexican, Turkish, Indian, Lebanese, Steak House, BBQ. We visited two very different restaurants during our stay. A super feature here is that selected non-alcoholic and local alcoholic drinks are included.
Our Dinner Highlights
We spent one evening at “The Mangal,” directly by the sea. The concept here: BBQ for everyone! The tables are grouped in small areas.
There are grill stations where chefs prepare different meat options, which are then brought directly to the table and offered. There are various side dishes and, of course, drinks. The meat was truly excellently seasoned and grilled to perfection. It tasted wonderful. Hardly was the plate empty before we were offered something new. We certainly didn’t leave hungry!
Another evening we were at “Salt.” Here, they serve seafood. Again, we were pampered and were very happy and full after the meal. Our menu began with fish soup and sushi. Actually, that would have been completely enough for me. But what was served next was truly so outstanding that I couldn’t say no. Three more courses followed with various fish dishes and even a Surf and Turf course. The dessert then topped it all. There was Panna Cotta, ice cream, and fruit.
We haven’t eaten this well in an all-inclusive hotel for a long time.
Our Tip: Definitely book a table in one of the à-la-carte restaurants and let yourself be pampered! It makes the luxury vacation on the Red Sea perfect!
Anjana Spa: Oasis of Calm on 2,000 Square Meters
Wellness is simply part of a luxury vacation at the Rixos Radamis. The wellness area in the hotel is 2,000 m² large, and almost all offers can be used free of charge. The wellness offer includes access to the Turkish Spa, including sauna, steam bath, and Jacuzzi.
Fit on Vacation: Sporting Variety
The resort also offers extensive sports and fitness activities free of charge. The fitness center features modern equipment, and courses such as CrossFit as well as more relaxed yoga sessions are offered.
Those who like to swing a tennis racket will also find tennis courts.
Beach and Jetty: The Coral Reef at Your Doorstep
The Rixos Radamis is located in a prime beachfront position and has its own private beach area, the “Radamis Beach.” Naturally, we wanted to take a dip in the Red Sea here too – although “jumping in” is not really possible.
The beach is a mixture of sand and rocks. Long jetties lead into the water everywhere, and for good reason. Anyone going into the water from the shore has to step over stones and corals to reach deep water.
Those who really want to swim walk along the long jetties to the deeper areas of the Red Sea. There, a small taste of the sea’s biodiversity awaits. Colorful fish can be observed while snorkeling. And those who, like us, have no clue about the world of fish, can check large boards after snorkeling to see what just swam past them.
A Little Luxury: Relaxing in the Cabana
There are complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. For a “little” luxury on the beach, there is the option to rent one of 37 pool and beach cabanas for a fee. We were able to enjoy this luxury for one day.
From downtime in the hammock to a private Jacuzzi – you can really treat yourself here. Of course, cold drinks await in the fridge, and you can relax in the shade on a huge sofa. I could get used to this.
More Than Five Pools
For those who love the sea but prefer splashing in the pool, the hotel complex offers more than 5 different pool areas. Here you will find free loungers and umbrellas and, of course, a pool bar.
The sun had heated the water wonderfully, and swimming was a wonderful change from visiting the sea.
Rixy Kids Town: Here Kids Become Firefighters and Artists
The hotel group’s family-friendly concept is particularly evident in the offer for children. Rixy Kids Town is far more than a conventional mini-club.
This concept engages with the children’s world. They have the opportunity to give free rein to their creativity in the art studio and proudly present their own creations. We looked at the painting room with the easels and the wood workshop. The children were supervised by staff and instructed in the use of materials.
They proudly showed us their created works. But other areas also entice with great offers. You can acquire a “driver’s license” and do laps on a go-kart track, learn what firefighters do and extinguish “fires” yourself, and of course climb and romp around.
The offer is expanded by a dedicated Rixy Kids Restaurant and a Kids Club on the beach.
World-Class Entertainment in the Evening
The Rixos Radamis places value on a high-quality, professional entertainment program. The resort offers shows year-round with live entertainment, dance shows, live bands, and DJs.
During our stay, we enjoyed two evening shows. The huge plus point: it’s not animators performing, but professional artist groups. We were able to see breathtaking artistry and great dance groups. I had previously only seen something like this in variety shows. Our
Tip: Be at the stage early. Seats with a good view are limited. There is plenty of standing room!
A completely unexpected attraction comprises the 20 Venetian-style gondolas, which allow for a romantic canal ride through the resort’s evening illumination for a fee. A super service is the numerous golf carts that circulate within the complex. With them, you can easily cover longer distances from designated stops.
