Holiday in Alpirsbach

Alpirsbach, located in the upper Kinzig valley in the central Black Forest, is a picturesque vacation resort. The small town is the ideal place for beer lovers and keen hikers. Vacation in Alpirsbach is relaxation time!

Alpirsbach is located in Baden-Württemberg in the district of Freudenstadt. The town consists of a main town and five districts with 77 other villages, hamlets, farms and houses.

The Benedictine monastery, which is over 900 years old, is the heart of Alpirsbach and an absolute highlight for history and culture lovers. It impresses with its Romanesque architecture and offers insights into the eventful history of the region. Regular guided tours and events make the monastery a lively meeting place.

Biospäre Potsdam

The town is known for its traditional brewery, Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu. Visitors can take part in guided tours of the brewery, learn about the production of the beer and taste the different varieties directly on site. The brewery is an important part of the regional identity and a must-see for beer lovers.

The Glaswiesen and Glaswald nature reserves and numerous protected landscape areas are located in the immediate vicinity. The well-maintained hiking trails, such as the rafters’ path, lead through some of the most beautiful valleys in the region. It is raining cats and dogs when we arrive in Alpirsbach. Actually just the right weather for a guided tour of the Alpirsbach brewery. But of course it's not just us who have come up with this idea and so more and more people gather under their umbrellas at the meeting point.
