Arrival
By plane
The nearest international airport is Berlin-Brandenburg.
By train
The railway line from Berlin to Frankfurt (Oder) is the most important transport connection in the region. The regional express R1 stops at some stations twice an hour. The Königs Wusterhausen – Grunow railway line runs in a west-east direction. The RB 36 regional train runs here.
In addition, the RB 35 from Fürstenwalde to Beeskow and the RB 11 from Cottbus to Frankfurt (Oder) run through the district.
By car
The district is crossed by the A 12 motorway, which connects to the Berliner Ring.
By boat
The Oder, the Spree, the Oder-Spree Canal and the Storkow Canal offer the opportunity to discover the district by boat.
