Beer with a castle view in Bernau
On the way to Bernau we passed through the district of Börnicke. Here, right next to the Börnicke Castle manor house, is the brewery of the Bernauer Brauereigenossenschaft, which brews the excellent Bernauer beer.

Bernau is located just a few kilometers northeast of the Berlin city limits in the Barnim district. A trip to the city is ideal to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital and offers some beautiful and interesting destinations.
