The Biosphere is located in the middle of Potsdam. Here you can experience a vacation atmosphere in the rainforest all year round.
About 7000 m2 large is the rainforest in the Biosphere Potsdam. Here are 20000 tropical plants. Climbing plants climb up the trees, you can find useful plants like lemon trees, coffee bushes and especially in spring everything turns into a sea of flowers.
We really enjoyed our trip to the Biosphäre Potsdam. The tropical world enchanted us and on the many display boards you can learn a lot about the animal and plant world. The butterfly house is especially beautiful. You should move carefully and slowly, but then it flutters and buzzes around you and you can admire the variety of animals.
But even if you otherwise walk with open eyes through the plant paradise, you can discover some animals. Birds run and fly around freely, stop and look a little closer.
