In the heart of Hannover, directly at the underground station Aegidientorplatz, is the “me and all Hotel”. We spent two nights there and enjoyed the time very much.
It took us about 15 minutes to walk from Hannover central station to the large intersection at Aegidientorplatz. The hotel is located in a prestigious building on the square and those arriving by car can park in one of the hotel’s underground garages.

Welcome
You reach the entrance area via a few steps and already upon arrival I knew that I would feel very comfortable. Not only the warm and friendly welcome contributed to this, but also the atmosphere was right from the start. Next to the reception, the breakfast area and the bar with cosy seating are located on the ground floor.
From Tuesday to Saturday (6.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.), the in-house restaurant ESSKULTUR offers excellent food. From classics to innovative fusion cuisine, there are dishes to choose from that are sure to delight gourmets.

The hotel has a total of 165 rooms, 2 of which are equipped for disabled guests.
The hotel is completely cashless! So even in the evening at the bar, only card payment is possible.

Stay overnight at the „Me And All Hotel Hannover – JDV by Hyatt“
Our room was on the 5th floor of the hotel and overlooked the busy Aegidientorplatz. We usually sleep with the window closed and it was wonderfully quiet in the room.
The room is very cosy. An armchair and a small sofa invite you to relax, and we found the right free drink in the fridge. There is a desk for working and the fast Wi-Fi left nothing to be desired. Of course, there is also a TV in the room. Since we rarely or never watch TV on our travels, it remained switched off. There is a very small safe in the room. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit a laptop or a larger camera.

The bed (box spring bed) was a dream. Many different pillows offered the perfect choice for the night and the mattress firmness was just right for us. We enjoyed our first coffee in the morning in our room, there is a small coffee station in most rooms.
The bathroom area was divided into a separate toilet, an open sink in the room and a separately separated water-saving rain shower with very hot water.
Choice of room on another visit
On another visit to the “me and all hotel”, I stayed in a double room measuring around 15 m2. The room was quietly situated facing a small courtyard and offered me a box-spring bed in which I slept very well. I was able to enjoy my morning coffee in the room and there were cool drinks in the minibar.

This room also had an open washbasin and a very hot, water-saving rain shower in a separate room.
The “Gin Room”
In the lift I discovered a sticker announcing a gin room on the 6th floor of the hotel. Curious, I asked about it at the reception and was lucky. The room was not occupied at the time and I could take a look inside.

The room was created due to the wish of a local partner to have a hotel room “designed according to his own wishes”. In this room, the partner, a gin producer, was able to realise his wishes.

The result is a cosy dream in pink, which of course refers to the gin and is rather untypical for a hotel room. I liked it.
What else is important?
The breakfast at the hotel was very good. The product selection contained something for every taste: from vegan to meaty, from muesli to scrambled eggs. The products are purchased from local partners as much as possible.

I was particularly pleased that the hotel does not simply dispose of “leftovers” from the breakfast buffet in the trash, but sells them for a small price via the app “TooGoodToGo”. The bags are available for collection in the morning with a daily changing offer after reservation and payment via the app.

In the basement of the hotel there is not only access to the underground car park. There is also a very well-equipped fitness area with a small sauna. You can train on weight machines, rowing machines, on the bicycle ergometer, cross trainer, treadmill, with the punching bag or the dumbbells in a stylish atmosphere. The equipment was quite new and looked fully functional.
If you want to go for a longer jog before strength training, the Maschsee is only about 600 metres away and offers a great running route.
After sports, a sauna session is possible from 5 p.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a rest in the relaxation room.
