A city trip to Hanover offers plenty of variety. Whether out and about in the countryside or in the old town, the sights in Hanover are well worth seeing.

Many of the sights in Hanover listed here can be easily discovered by following the “Red Thread” through the city. However, you will then miss out on the green areas of the city, such as the Eilenriede or the zoo, which are a little away from the old town.
