A vacation on Usedom is a dream come true for many vacationers every year. When looking for suitable accommodation, they are spoiled for choice: camping, hotel, vacation apartment, what should it be? Where do you want to stay? Near the beach or in the hinterland? And then, of course, there’s the question: What’s the vacation budget? How expensive can it be?
Admittedly, Beachhouse Bansin is not one of the cheapest suggestions you can find. But to be honest, the apartments are equipped to such a high standard and are in a fantastic location that the price is entirely justified.

After picking up our apartment key at the central reception in Bansin, we only needed a few minutes by car. Beachhouse Bansin is located in the first row directly on the beach.
There is at least one reserved parking space for each apartment in the underground garage, so we didn’t have to look for an inexpensive parking space in Bansin. The elevator took us comfortably to the top floor. There we were allowed to stay in the Penthouse Waterfront for the next few days.
Penthouse Waterfront
What a luxury! I’ve never stayed in a vacation apartment of this quality before. In front of us was a very long hallway, from which the individual rooms of the 170 m² apartment lead off.

A total of 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms awaited us and our flatmates. As we were still alone when we arrived, we were able to take a look at all the differently designed bedrooms. The bathrooms are equipped with a rain shower, washbasin and toilet. Each room is dominated by a large box-spring double bed (1.80m x 2.00m), there is a spacious wardrobe and a TV. I particularly like the fact that each bedroom has access to the apartment’s terrace. From the terrace we had our first glimpse of the Baltic Sea.

Next, I was drawn to the sauna in the apartment. The Finnish sauna is a real luxury for me. It’s just the right place to relax after a winter walk.

However, the highlight of the apartment is the huge living area. The living area is divided into an open kitchen and a feel-good area with a huge sofa landscape in front of a gas fireplace. Everything is just right in the living area – the room concept is modern, cozy and invites you to spend time here. There is a TV, a music system and the Wi-Fi works very well. Our small flat-sharing community spent a lot of time here and in the kitchen area with the large dining area.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need – hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge and plenty of crockery. Cooking together is fun here.
If you need to do laundry during your stay, there is a washing machine and dryer in the utility room.

There is a large roof terrace around the penthouse. We were there in winter, so unfortunately we couldn’t really use the roof terrace. But the view of the Baltic Sea and the beach is beautiful even in winter. If you’re lucky enough to experience a sunrise, it’s well worth standing there.

If this wasn’t a vacation home, I would move in there permanently in a heartbeat!

The visit took place as part of a research trip.
