Vacation in Brodenbach

Brodenbach is a local community in the district of Mayen-Koblenz. A vacation in Brodenbach invites you to relax, hike and drink wine. A place for the ideal vacation in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Tourism was already an important economic factor for Brodenbach at the end of the 19th century. The wooded side valleys of Ehrbachtal and Brodenbachtal are ideal for long hiking tours. Both valleys constantly supply the village with fresh air. This has made it possible for the village to be designated a state-recognized health resort.

Brodenbach is nestled in the Moselle valley and is surrounded by the side valleys of the Hunsrück and wooded slopes. The region offers numerous hiking trails, including challenging routes that lead through the picturesque landscape. The Schinderhannes-Untermosel cycle path, which connects the Hunsrück and Moselle valleys, is particularly popular and ideal for cyclists. Many accommodations offer the opportunity to store your bike and explore the area from there.

Stadthafen Brodenbach

The Moselle region is known for its excellent wines, and Brodenbach is no exception. The local “Neuwingert” vineyard produces high-quality Riesling and Kerner grapes that delight wine lovers. Many holidaymakers come to taste the regional wines and enjoy the culinary specialties of the Moselle.

The area around Brodenbach is rich in historical sights. The nearby Ehrenburg, a medieval castle that towers over the Ehrbach valley, is particularly impressive. It is a popular excursion destination and offers insights into the history of the region. Due to its proximity to Koblenz and other Moselle towns, Brodenbach is an ideal starting point for day trips. Whether a visit to the Deutsche Eck in Koblenz, a boat trip on the Moselle or a road trip along the Moselle Wine Route – Brodenbach is the perfect starting point.
