Leipzig Forum of Contemporary History
The Forum of Contemporary History in Leipzig takes you on a journey through German history. The excellently designed exhibition deals with the period from the end of the Second World War, the GDR era to the present day. Memorial Museum in the “Round Corner” Leipzig

Mendelssohn House Leipzig
The home of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy is now a museum. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy belonged to the Leipzig music scene like almost no other artist. He was Gewandhauskapellmeister and founded Germany’s first conservatory. The multimedia exhibition impressively shows his life and tells about his work.

Monument to the Battle of the Nations & FORUM 1813
The Battle of Leipzig took place in 1813. Around half a million soldiers fought and a good 90,000 died during the battle. The Battle of Nations Monument has commemorated the event since 1913. The FORUM 1813 museum revisits the events.
