The port cities in the western Mediterranean sea offer a variety of sights and activities. Whether historic old towns, cultural highlights or nature experiences – each destination has its own charm.
Organized excursions or explorations on your own are equally possible, depending on your preferences and time.

Life on board the AIDAperla is diverse and varied. There was so much on offer that we didn't even come close to seeing, trying out and enjoying everything.
When you go on your first cruise, you get a lot of advice about cabin selection: “preferably in the middle of the ship, be able to see out (in case you get sick), not too far down in the ship....” So what is the right choice, is there even a right choice of cabin or…
The AIDAperla has docked in Livorno. Passengers stream off the ship and take the buses to Florence or Pisa. I also disembark, get on a bus and let me drive to Lucca. A Lucca short visit in 2 hours, which in retrospect were much too short.
The first stop on the AidaPerla’s Mediterranean cruise is Corsica. After a day at sea, we are looking forward to our brief visit to Ajaccio.
