The Hotel Pestana Viking is located on a plateau above a small bay which is ideal for swimming. From here you have a beautiful view over the coast of Portugal.
We have been “persuaded” to choose this hotel. Our very competent travel agent Lisa had already been there and raved about this hotel. And she was right. The hotel complex has charm and style.
From the outside, the building was not really our preferred style, but maximum points for the interior! The entrance, the bar and the restaurant are really great. We were very satisfied with the food and the great variety of it. The pool area and the small indoor pool are very well maintained and to our taste. The rooms are very functional. Very nice is the small kitchenette with some plates and utensils. Just enough so that you can prepare your own little snacks or sangria for evenings on the balcony.
Faro Airport is 55 km from the hotel.
