Lutecia Smart Design Hotel in Lisbon

The Lutecia Smart Design Hotel is located in Lisbon in a residential area of Areeiro. We stayed there for nine days as long term guests. Most guests only stay for one or two nights.

The Lutecia Hotel in Lisbon is very close to the lively Avenida de Roma and the Roma-Areeiro metro station is conveniently just 200 meters away. Right across the road is the regional railway station so seeing the beautiful sights in Lisbon is fast and easy. You can even take a train to see Sintra.

The surrounding area is full of delicious restaurants in all different price categories.

This gorgeous design hotel is four stars and covers nine floors. Every floor is decorated with a different theme and color. Our room was on the seventh floor know as the white floor. The color scheme was white, black and gray and beautifully decorated.

Hotel in Lisbon

Although our lovely room was not situated directly over the main street it was above several ventilation and air conditioning systems. The evening air was nice and cool so we simply closed the window each evening and did not hear the facilities. The room was quite clean and modern.
All of the rooms have an espresso coffee machine with the capsules in the minibar. Although they were expensive they were well worth the price.
We slept very well in the beds, the mattress was just right for us. Only a pity that there was the usual gaps between beds. A double bed would have been better.
The bathroom was a decent size and had a nice bathtub. We noticed the bathroom was also very clean.

Wi-Fi is free and available all over the hotel. The network they used was stable with a good speed. The mobile phone reception in our room was a little weak but once we opened the window it worked just fine.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and the food was hot. There was  cereal, rolls, cakes and fresh fruit in addition to the hot food. The variety was nice because but we had the same breakfast every day. For a short visit no problem, at 9 days a bit boring. Products for intolerance or diabetes were not stocked in the hotel.

We really liked the Lutecia Smart Design Hotel in Lisbon. The performance and price was right and we would definitely stay there again.
