Bernburg (Saale)

Bernburg is located in Saxony-Anhalt directly on the river Saale. A trip to Bernburg offers the opportunity to explore a residential town and the surrounding Salzlandkreis.

Only about 40 kilometers from Magdeburg, Bernburg Castle stands above the Saale River. From there, you can discover the old town of Bernburg and walk in the footsteps of Till Eulenspiegel. Those who prefer to be out and about more in nature can look for traces of the last Ice Age in the Glacier Garden on the outskirts of the town or cycle along the Saale.
