The province of Groningen is located in the north of the Netherlands. The capital of this province is also called Groningen, three small uninhabited Wadden islands (Rottumeroog, Rottumerplaat and Zuiderduintjes) belong to the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Dutch region is bordered to the north by the Wadden Sea and the Ems estuary. Germany lies to the east of the region. To the south and west of the province adjoin other Dutch provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Germany it is possible to arrive by car without any problems. There are many smaller and larger roads leading into the province. Often you do not even notice that you have passed a border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The railroad offers the Niedersachsen-Ticket + Groningen. With this you can in the Dutch province of Groningen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 a.m. the following day,<\/li>
  • on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Lower Saxony from 00 a.m. until 03 a.m. on the following day.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
