The Middle Saale Valley is not called Thuringia’s Tuscany for nothing. The Saale flows for about 70 kilometres through one of the most beautiful regions of Thuringia from Saalfeld to Naumburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a climatically particularly favoured area. The sun reflects on the steep valley slopes and the shell limestone stores the heat. This results in an early and mild spring, hot summers and mild winters, ideal for a holiday in the Saale Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
