M\u00fcnster, city of peace, is located in North Rhine-Westphalia. The city is best known for the Peace Hall in the Historic City Hall, its beautiful gabled houses and the Lamberti Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In 1648, after long negotiations, M\u00fcnster and Osnabr\u00fcck concluded the Peace of Westphalia, which ended the Thirty Years’ War. This event left its mark on world history and to this day M\u00fcnster is considered a city of peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When visiting M\u00fcnster, you can not only walk in the footsteps of peace. Numerous museums attract visitors with their exhibitions, there are beautiful churches and a gorgeous old town to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00fcnster is also a green city. Not only is the bicycle the most popular means of transportation in the city, but there are also parks and the Aasee, which invite you to relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather is rather gloomy when the SOLAARIS stops at the shore of the Aasee and we leave the ship to visit the open-air museum M\u00fchlenhof M\u00fcnster. M\u00fcnster is a cycling city. Anyone who drives a car here has only themselves to blame. The cycle paths are - in contrast to our home town of Berlin - superbly developed.
