Evaluating hotel facilities is very subjective. Everyone has their demands, their preferences and their experiences. We will not go for a rating in form of stars or suns.

We spent our holiday at the MarBella Corfu. We booked the all inclusive offer with a double deluxe, bath or shower, WC, air conditioning, balcony or terrace, view of the garden. Deciding factor for our hotel choice is free WiFi with good reception at almost all parts of the hotel premises.

We had a very friendly and warm welcome upon arrival in the evening after our flight. A staff member of the hotel took us to our room, our suitcases were brought to the room a little later.
The first impression: a very nice room.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed, but after only 30 minutes in the room, we had a knock on the door and a plate filled to the brim with different treats was given to each of us. After that most welcomed refreshment, we went to the bar for a little night cap.
In the morning we checked out the view from the room for the first time:

The all inclusive offer of the hotel MarBella Corfu turned out to be very abundant buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Various foods were offered. At breakfast, for example, there were alternating champagne / salmon and fresh smoothies, in the evenings we had themed buffets. The offer also included a visit to the Greek and Italian a la carte restaurants (once per stay) and breakfast in the smaller Italian restaurant. The offers at the different bars (pool, beach, main house) was very good, but also expensive. The All Inclusive package came in very handy here. When you have to pay 7-9 € for a cocktail and 3-6 € for a beer, it certainly adds up over the course of the holiday.

The well-rounded package also offered a small sports program and free use of the sauna and the hammam. (Children’s animation was also offered).
There is also a spa area with discounted rates. On the last day of the holiday, I enjoyed a wonderful 50 min massage, which was a very nice closure to the holiday.

We did a small tour of the outside of the hotel. The hotel complex is divided into a main building and several smaller annexes.
There is a special area with a children’s swimming pool, playgrounds and the children’s play area.
2 pools with fresh and salt water with free sunbeds, incl. towels and cushions and umbrellas are available for the hotel guests.
A multifunctional sports field for tennis and football is located near the main house.

The beach can be reached through a small garden or by an underpass of the main street, which runs directly alongside the coast. (We hardly noticed the street during our stay.)
There we found crystal-clear water, in which swimming was really fun. The hotel had its own stretch of natural beach with a bar, free beach chairs and umbrellas.
Walks on the beach are not possible due to the coastal structure!

In our opinion, the hotel MarBella Corfu is very good for the recreational travellers.

Booking.com
</ins>
