The TOWER PARK PRAHA is very close to the centre of Prague and it is home to the largest building in Prague, the Žižkover TV Tower.

With the designs of Dipl. Ing. Václav Aulický and Dr. Ing. Jiří Kozákentstand was established from 1985 to 1992 the Žižkover television tower.

At first he was controversial because of his architecture; he did not fit the Pragers into the historical surroundings. Today it is a highlight for the visitors in Prague.

The tower is 216 m high. At a height of 93 meters is the observatory, which accommodates about 300 people. In addition, the tower offers a ONE ROOM HOTEL at a height of 70m and a restaurant for 180 persons at a height of 66m.

Technically, there is no tower that is so unique. A special pendulum in the tower prevents the fluctuations to which such a high structure is exposed. Three concrete pillars covered with steel sleeves extend to a height of 134 meters. On these pods were placed 3 cabins, at 66 m height (restaurant), 93m height (viewing platform) and the highest cabin for the Rundfunktechnik. The thickest column has a diameter of over 6 meters and at its end is the antenna mast. There are also lifts for the visitors. The two other pillars are slightly thinner and contain the load lift and the staircase for emergencies.
