It is amongst the aquariums with the most species with its many freshwater and saltwater creatures, the amphibians, reptiles and insects. A visit is well worthwhile not just for kids!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Around 13000 animals of 1000 different species live in the Aquarium Berlin. They are presented on three storeys in their respective habitats. <br>\nToday, many of their natural habitats are endangered which is why the Aquarium breeds animals as well. A personal favourite of ours is the bridge across the crocodile pond. Here, they are allowed to touch the fish! It is a little less busy on those days and visitors have better access to the tanks.
