At Tegel Airport guests can observe aeroplanes for hours from the visitor\u2019s deck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The respective approach lanes have always been amongst our favourite destinations when visiting airports. There is a certain fascination we have with landing or starting planes that zoom past us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/einflugsschneise.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/einflugsschneise.jpg\" alt=\"Einflugsschneise Flughafen Tegel\" class=\"wp-image-7074\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/airberlin-landet.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/anflug.jpg\" alt=\"Anflug Flughafen Tegel\" class=\"wp-image-7071\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We are fortunate to live close to Tegel Airport in Berlin. Far away enough to not have to endure constant noise (even though that depends on the direction of the wind) but close enough to get there reasonably quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of their approach lanes is over Spandau and Haselhorst. In Tegel Forest (Tegeler Forst) one can position oneself directly beneath the landing planes and watch them descend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/anflug-ueber-die-koepfe.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/anflug-ueber-die-koepfe.jpg\" alt=\"Anflug \u00fcber die Koepfe\" class=\"wp-image-7073\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/airberlin-landet.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/airberlin-landet.jpg\" alt=\"airBerlin landet Flughafen Tegel\" class=\"wp-image-7072\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The visitor\u2019s deck in Tegel is a true highlight for so-called \u201cplanespotters\u201d. They have a great view of the take-off and landing runways from here and can see almost the entire waiting area for the planes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/warten-auf-dem-rollfeld.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/warten-auf-dem-rollfeld.jpg\" alt=\"warten auf dem Rollfeld Flughafen Tegel\" class=\"wp-image-7076\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Opening Hours:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summer (April to October):<\/strong> <br>daily between 9.00 &#8211; 18.00 Uhr<br><strong>Winter (end of October to end of March): <\/strong><br>daily between 10:00 and 16:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airport shares starting and landing times of planes that don\u2019t often frequent the airport on their facebook page.
