There are so many great places to stay in Prague. We were allowed to stay 3 nights in the Pentahotel Prague and felt very comfortable.

On our arrival at the hotel we were given a very friendly welcome. Our car was parked directly in front of the hotel in a parking area which could only be used for unloading the car. No problem at all, quick we took the luggage inside and the car to an underground car park one street away. There we had already reserved a parking space from home. The hotel itself also has its own parking spaces, but only in a limited number and we wanted to be sure, that we wouldn’t have to search on site. Free parking on the street is hard to find in this area.

Only after the car had found its place, we could look around the hotel.

The room

Our room was located on the 6th floor of the hotel at the end of a long corridor with a view of the street. To come straight to the point – despite the open window we slept wonderfully. The street is quite busy, but it didn’t bother us.

"Zimmer

The room was very large and furnished like a hotel room. Nothing special, except for the fancy telephone in the room, which reflected a bit of what was lived in the hotel lobby. But on a city trip such a room is only meant for sleeping and there was a huge bed in the room. I think it was almost twice as wide as our bed at home and we slept very well in it.

"Telefon

Those who want to can use for free film channels on the 42-inch TV and the free WLAN reception was really good in this room. In the safe in the room a 13″ laptop just fits into when it is angled, then it is full.

The Lobby

For me the heart of the hotel is the lobby. Already at our arrival I searched in vain for the usual reception. Here you check in and out at the bar counter.

"Bar

There are plenty of tables and chairs in the rear area. Here you can sit well in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied. I could enjoy my morning muesli, Patrick enjoyed the variety of the sausage and cheese selection. The coffee was tasty, the day could start well.

"Lobby

In the other areas of the lobby there were comfortable seating areas, which, especially in the evening hours, tempted people to linger by the many burning candles. Then one could also use the rich offer of the bar. Those who feel like playing a game of billiards could play for free. Additionally, game consoles are available for “gambling”.

Those who prefer to spend their evening at the hotel can also eat in the hotel’s restaurant.

Where is the Pentahotel Prague?

The hotel is located near the city centre. On foot, perhaps not on the direct route, we did not need more than 20 minutes.

A good 100 metres from the hotel is the underground station Křižíkova (yellow line) and tram lines 8 and 3 stop almost in front of the door.

Is it possible to eat nearby?

There are numerous restaurants and pubs in the vicinity of the Pentahotel Prague. A large supermarket is about 20 metres away from the hotel, where you can find snacks for on the way.
