Cheap food in Plzen is possible not only outside the historic city center, even there you can find restaurants frequented by Czechs, where the price level is not exaggerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Cheap food in Plzen our tips:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pizzeria Da Pietro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Right next to the historical old town is the green area of Mestsk\u00fd Park. There are several restaurants and pubs here. On our first day in Plzen we were craving for a really good pizza and chose the first pizzeria we could find.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/pilsen-pizzeria-pizza-1-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"Pizza in Pilsen\" class=\"wp-image-24278\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Pizzeria Da Pietro you can sit outside, it was really crowded and we were lucky to get a free table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cheapest pizza costs about 6.50\u20ac, the most expensive is about 11.50\u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/pilsen-pizzeria-pizza-2-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"Preiswert Essen in Pilsen\" class=\"wp-image-24279\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The two pizzas we ate there were very good. There is a small terrace with a few seats, so you can sit outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/pilsen-restaurant-lekarna-1024x730.jpeg\" alt=\"Restaurant Lekarna in Pilsen\" class=\"wp-image-24284\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I had a really big salad here and Patrick had a chicken dish. The food was very good. A few times we walked past it and saw that there were delicious looking cakes, cookies, breads\u2026 displayed. There were some free tables on the sidewalk and so we decided to have dinner there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The price maps are on the table, you have to order and pay in the pub. We had nachos and a burger. You can&#8217;t go wrong with nachos and the burger was a dream &#8211; great sauces, pulled pork and a good bun. The portions were huge. The price\/quality ratio was great and we felt very comfortable in the casual atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Address:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Plach\u00e9ho 10,<br>Plzen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u0160vejk Restaurant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0160vejk restaurant belongs to a chain of restaurants. We had already eaten once in a restaurant of this provider and so we knew what we would get to eat there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restaurant is located in the historic center of Plzen. But if you think that only tourists eat here, you are wrong. While we were sitting on the outdoor terrace, only Czechs were there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/pilsen-sve-essen-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"Preiswert Essen in Pilsen\" class=\"wp-image-24299\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Patrick chose a typical Czech meal &#8211; meat with dumpling. The meat was tender, a great sauce and a not too firm dumpling at a good price was served to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/pilsen-sve-schnitzel-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"Schnitzel\" class=\"wp-image-24300\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I ordered a schnitzel without any side dish. Much to the amazement of the waiter, who asked three times if I really wanted only the meat. But I had consciously chosen so and the meat was really fried exactly to the point. My highlight, however, was my dessert. Dumplings filled with nougat and vanilla sauce!!!! A dream. The small slices of bread have been on offer for about 100 years and are one of the insider tips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chleb\u00ed\u010dky is made of long wheat bread that is topped and garnished. Probably the most typical chleb\u00ed\u010dky is the ham canap\u00e9 &#8211; \u0161unkov\u00fd chleb\u00ed\u010dek. A layer of potato salad is placed on top of the bread, followed by an artfully folded slice of ham and a hard-boiled egg, a pickled cucumber and a strip of pickled red pepper. Really very good!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also variations with, for example, cheese, salami, roast beef, egg, shrimp or salmon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/pilsen-schnittchen-1024x716.jpeg\" alt=\"Chleb\u00ed\u010dky, Preiswert Essen in Pilsen\" class=\"wp-image-24304\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We got some really good tasting Chleb\u00ed\u010dky in Plzen and ate it on a bench during a walk.
