On our programme during the blogger trip to the Black Forest is a visit to the Hotel Waldlust. At first I was a bit irritated – why should I visit a hotel where we are not staying? So I did a little surfing on the internet and it was clear why this place was on our programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
In 1902, the Grand Hotel Waldlust opened in Freudenstadt in the Black Forest. The hotelier Ernst Luz had an elegant villa converted into an exclusive hotel. For that time, 140 rooms, 60 of which had private bathrooms (and there were even heated towel rails) – were a true luxury. 100 lounging balconies attracted the so-called “air snappers” to the hotel to breathe the healthy Black Forest air and relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
