Den Burg is the main town and administrative centre of Texel. The town is wonderfully central and is therefore an ideal starting point for small and large island adventures. Hotel De Lindeboom is centrally located and easy to reach.

About half of the island’s inhabitants live in Den Burg, which is very popular with visitors to the island. In the small alleys in the centre you will find shops that simply draw you in. Decorations, clothes, specialities, street cafés and restaurants – you just can’t go past…

Hotel De Lindeboom is located in the city centre on a square around which the beautiful old town area flows seamlessly.

Where the hotel now stands was once the town hall. In 1894, after the building was demolished, Hotel Texel was built with 8 guest rooms and a café. The neighbouring former courthouse is now used by the restaurant Het Schoutenhuys.
