For most holidaymakers, Portugal is associated with wine. But there is also very good Portuguese beer and the craft beer scene in Lisbon has developed steadily in recent years. We tested craft beer in Lisbon on a pub crawl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Cerveja Canil Baixa – Discover Lisbon Beer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In a side street is the Cerveja Canil Baixa. Even outside the pub, Portuguese and city visitors stand together and chat over a beer. The relaxed atmosphere carries over into the modern pub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We looked for a place at the bar and enthusiastically discovered the countless taps for the different types of beer. If I counted correctly, there were 32 taps from which the beer flowed in streams. The beers on offer ranged from Brew Dog, some Portuguese beers and the house brand Canil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first choice was a Canil Red Ale and Canil Imperial IPA. Both beers were very tasty and drinkable. My Red Ale just flowed down my throat, a wonderful taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second beer was a Canil Weiss with a light taste of melon and basil and a Canil Session IPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
