But there is also very good Portuguese beer and the craft beer scene in Lisbon has developed steadily in recent years. We tested craft beer in Lisbon on a pub crawl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cerveja Canil Baixa &#8211; Discover Lisbon Beer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In a side street is the Cerveja Canil Baixa. Even outside the pub, Portuguese and city visitors stand together and chat over a beer. The relaxed atmosphere carries over into the modern pub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/canil-zapfanlage-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"Kneipentour Lissabon\" class=\"wp-image-34773\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We looked for a place at the bar and enthusiastically discovered the countless taps for the different types of beer. If I counted correctly, there were 32 taps from which the beer flowed in streams. The beers on offer ranged from Brew Dog, some Portuguese beers and the house brand Canil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/canil-bier-red-ale-imperial-ipa-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"Canil Biere\" class=\"wp-image-34771\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Our first choice was a Canil Red Ale and Canil Imperial IPA. Both beers were very tasty and drinkable. You should get good beer here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/lissabon-bar-pink-elefant-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"Bier trinken in Lissabon\" class=\"wp-image-34776\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It was very noisy when we got there and we already had problems understanding the young waitresses. We were assigned two bar stools at a beer barrel and shown a QR code for the menu. Then nothing happened for quite a while until we could make ourselves heard and order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, there was no beer from Portugal on site. We decided to try the Bah! brand beer. The beer comes from Brazil and was rather too bland and neutral for our taste. Too bad, the Bah! American APA and the Bah! Every month, 3 x 250 litres are brewed in the tanks on site. A total of 7 different beers are offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/lissabon-dughes-aussen.jpeg\" alt=\"Dughes Kneipe\" class=\"wp-image-34777\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>There are many steps leading up from the central downtown area to the brewpub. You can sit at some tables inside or directly on chairs on the stairs. You can get your beer at the counter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We chose a Duque Albino and a Duque Sourreal. The Albino is a white sout with a light taste of coffee and cocoa. The Sourreal lives up to its name. There&#8217;s the elderly housewife in her apron, drinking a coffee next to the student enjoying a Portuguese beer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/lissabon-kneipe-4-aussen.jpeg\" alt=\"Kneipe in Lissabon\" class=\"wp-image-34780\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>After we had made ourselves comfortable in a seating area, it was time to make a beer selection. Besides local beers, there were also three &#8220;foreign&#8221; beers on offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery alignwide has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"34781\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/lissabon-kneipe-4-bier-34.jpeg\" alt=\"Biere in Portugal\" class=\"wp-image-34781\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"34779\" src=\"https:\/\/vonortzuort.reisen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/lissabon-kneipe-4-2-bier.jpeg\" alt=\"Bier trinken in Lissabon\" class=\"wp-image-34779\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The first choice was a &#8220;Little Rain Hazienda IPA&#8221; from Spain and the Dois Cervos Creature from Portugal. Both beers had a very pleasant taste and the slight bitterness came through well. Next we drank a Letra Red Ale and a Dois Corvos Weekend Hazienda IPA.
