5 Szczecin breweries we visited and drank very good beer and also ate well. Some of the breweries are so close to each other that you only have to walk a few 100 meters until you can drink the next beer.

During our time in Szczecin, we visited several breweries or places with their own beer brands and, of course, tested beers. However, since the variety of beers in the individual Szczecin breweries was large, we were not able to try all varieties. Very unfortunate, because the offer was tempting and our “test objects” very good.

Within walking distance from the train station stands the beautiful Red Town Hall of Szczecin. Here in the cellar of the town hall is a pizzeria. For us, the starting point of a tour of the Szczecin breweries located nearby.

In a beautiful vault we strengthened ourselves with a wood oven pizza, which fully convinced taste, size and price. This was accompanied by the first beer, an IPA and a wheat beer.

The IPA tasted quite good, but was a typical IPA with no flavor surprise. The wheat tasted fruity, had quite little foam.

Here the food was better than the beer! The seats were almost all reserved, we were there a good hour before the “rush” and got one of the reserved tables for a quick pizza.

What a brewery! When we got there it was so crowded that we had to push our way through the people to find a place. The brewery is large and you can find a seat in several rooms. Reservations are encouraged on weekends, especially if you come with more than one person.

We were given a seat in the dining room. Here, a large open kitchen dominates the room, which seats about 250 people. A look at the menu showed us that typical brewery food is served here. Lots of meat, but also pizza, pasta and salads are available. The prices are very fair and the portions more than adequate.
