It is raining cats and dogs when we arrive in Alpirsbach. Actually just the right weather for a guided tour of the Alpirsbach brewery. But of course it's not just us who have come up with this idea and so more and more people gather under their umbrellas at the meeting point.

By plane
The airports of Karlsruhr/Baden-Baden and Stuttgart are just under 100 kilometres away. The onward journey to Alpirsbach without a car is quite inconvenient and you have to reckon with about 3 hours of travel time due to the frequent changes.

Alpirsbach has had its own railway station since 1884. Trains run here about every hour on the route from Offenbach to Freudenstadt.
By car
The main roads 294 and 462 run through the town.

With the Konus guest card you can use buses and trains free of charge between Pforzheim and Basel, Karlsruhe and Waldshut. You get the card when you stay overnight in the Black Forest.
On foot
From the Alpirsbach train and bus station, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the monastery and brewery.
