We are Susanne and Patrick from Berlin. We were both born in ’67 and have a grown up daughter.
We decided that life’s too short to spend it working 9 to 5. We restructured or jobs and gradually increased the time we spend travelling. Every year we spend a little more time exploring the world and enjoying the time that we have been given on this earth.
Susanne is a moto pedagogue and moved people from 2 to 80 years until 2015. She was an active trainer in gymnastics in day care centres, water gymnastics and gymnastic for seniors and also trained future trainers in her field.
Besides writing this travel blog, Susanne is also responsible for the blogs Kitaturnen and Bastelstunde, both aimed at an audience of parents and educators.
Susanne is the author of the articles of „Von Ort zu Ort reisen“ and also manages the respective social media accounts. In preparation for the different trips she looks up the facts and figures about the places and interesting spots to visit and fun things to do. Including the boring stuff like opening hours, admission fees and so on. More often than not, the ideas for new articles come up on the trips and are then implemented by Susanne as soon as possible.
Patrick is Webdeveloper and programmer. So the ideal candidate to look after the technical side of things.
He finds sitting on a beach boring. Exploring new cities and taking long walks is more to his taste. On the trips he loves to play with the camera. He takes pictures of everything that stands still for just long enough.
