Brodenbach is a local community in the district of Mayen-Koblenz. A vacation in Brodenbach invites you to relax, hike and drink wine. A place for the ideal vacation in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Already at the end of the 19th century tourism was an important economic factor for Brodenbach. The wooded side valleys Ehrbachtal and Brodenbachtal are ideal for extended hiking tours. Both valleys constantly supply fresh air to the village. This made it possible to designate the place as a state-recognized resort.
Particularly attractive for the vacation in Brodenbach are the well-developed bike paths along the Moselle. Many accommodations offer the possibility to store your bike and explore the area from there.
Wine lovers will certainly get their money’s worth in the Moselle region. Numerous wineries offer their wines.
Vacation in Brodenbach
Tanja von Spaness and the Brodenbach organization team came up with something very special. We were allowed to experience the Saturday afternoon, divided into different groups the #AbenteuerBrodenbach in the truest sense of the word adventurous. Depending on our interests, we could join one of three groups: Adventure Herbs & Cuisine, Adventure Thunderhole, Adventure Ehrbachklamm.
Our adventure Brodenbach leads us to the Ehrenburg. We drive out of town along a road with switchbacks higher and higher into the Hunsrück and finally arrive at a large parking lot. From here we walk another 400 meters downhill until we reach the Ehrenburg.
The town of Brodenbach is located on the beautiful Moselle River. I think I would never have gotten to know and love this region of Germany if Tanja from Spaness hadn't invited me to a blogger meeting with the #AbenteuerBrodenbach. So on a Friday early in the morning I took the train from Berlin via Frankfurt…
