Does the Karlovy Vary Region Card pay off?

For the region around Karlovy Vary the Karlovy Vary Region CARD is offered, which provides its users with both free and discounted offers. We tested the offer during our stay.

We spent 7 days in Karlovy Vary and could test the offer of the tourist car in peace and quiet.

Karlovy VARY REGION CARD

After we had picked up the cards and the information book from the tourist information, I made myself comfortable on the sofa in our vacation apartment and searched the various offers in peace. Before our trip, I had already picked out some points in Karlovy Vary that we wanted to visit. A glance at the little book told me that almost all the places were listed and that with the map many of them would be free of charge.

I was pleased to find out that there were even some great ideas in the surrounding area that we immediately included in our vacation planning. We have for example

  • the Moser Glass Museum
  • the Becherovka Visitor Center
  • the Christmas House
  • some course offers
  • and excursions in the region

with the card very inexpensive for us. For us the use of the card was definitely worth it.

We only use the car during our vacations when there is no practical solution without a car. Here the Karlovy Vary Region Card was able to provide us with ideal support, for example, bus or cable car rides are included in the price of the card – and as much as you would like! For us a real plus point.

For us, the Karlovy Vary Region Card was an ideal enrichment and support during our vacation in Karlovy Vary. It is advisable to have a look at the offer of the card in advance and to offset the cost of the card against the entrance fees. Only after a certain number of activities the card really pays off.
