Even though Koblenz is considered a wine city, it also has very good beer. In our search for beer from Koblenz, we ended up at Gutsbrüder and were not disappointed.

Sayn is a district of Bensdorf and is located just under 12 kilometers from Koblenz. You should definitely plan a day trip to Sayn during a visit to the Romantic Rhine.
On a 160 meter high slate cone, high above the small town of Braubach on the Romantic Rhine, stands the Marksburg. The hilltop castle from the 12th century is the only medieval castle on the Middle Rhine, which was never completely destroyed.

One of the most spectacular views of Koblenz and the Rhine-Moselle region is offered by a ride on the Koblenz cable car up or down from Ehrenbreitstein.
Koblenz is where the Moselle flows into the Rhine. Here is one of the most visited places in the city, the German Corner in Koblenz with the monumental equestrian statue of the German Emperor Wilhelm I.
Tanja von Spaness and the Brodenbach organization team came up with something very special. We were allowed to experience the Saturday afternoon, divided into different groups the #AbenteuerBrodenbach in the truest sense of the word adventurous. Depending on our interests, we could join one of three groups: Adventure Herbs & Cuisine, Adventure Thunderhole, Adventure Ehrbachklamm.
Our adventure Brodenbach leads us to the Ehrenburg. We drive out of town along a road with switchbacks higher and higher into the Hunsrück and finally arrive at a large parking lot. From here we walk another 400 meters downhill until we reach the Ehrenburg.

Probably one of the best-known fashion jewelry factories in EdelSteinLand was the Jakob Bengel chain and fashion jewelry factory in the Oberstein district. Today, you can visit the Jakob Bengel industrial monument and take a look inside the former production facility on a guided tour.
A truly unique experience in the dark season is a torchlight hike. On the last Raunacht of the year, we were able to experience a hike to Schmidtburg Castle in the Hunsrück, on the way back we walked by the light of torches.
