In the morning, when the temperatures are not yet too hot, the hinterland of Corfu is ideal for short walks. Especially there you can often find the original village structures and small restaurants with delicious food.
The MarBella Corfu Hotel offers short morning walks to their guest. We did not want to miss this opportunity of course and so we joined the diverse group that set off from the hotel grounds.
Directly behind the hotel, there is a path up a hill that rewards all those who manage the steep ascend with an excellent view of Corfu’s landscape. The destination of the small excursion was the village Strongyli and the local tavern. After coffee and Ouzo, we went back downhill across the olive grove to the hotel.
A really nice walk, which brought us closer to the beautiful vegetation on Corfu. Werbung
