Plauen has some very beautiful churches, which can be easily visited during a city walk. We were in the Lutherkirche and the Johanniskirche, both of which are within easy walking distance from the old town.

The Hieronymite Monastery or Mosteiro dos Jerónimos is located in Lisbon’s Belém district. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. You should not miss a visit to the site when you go on a city trip to Lisbon.

St. Paul’s Cathedral and the astronomical clock
St. Paul’s Cathedral is one of the most important church buildings in Münster and a landmark of the city. It stands in the middle of the old town on the Domplatz. During our first visit to Münster, we unfortunately did not have time to visit St. Paul’s Cathedral. On our second visit to the city, we were now fortunately able to make up for it.

A visit to Meissen Cathedral and a climb up the tower
Meissen Cathedral bears the name of St. Johannis and St. Donatus. Together with Albrechtsburg Castle, it rises high above the city and is Meissen’s landmark, visible from afar.
