Having already spent a great week in the summer in the Mecklenburg Lake District, we were very excited about our second visit, which this time was to take place at the Aparthotel Seepanorama at Granzower See.

The easternmost municipality in the Mecklenburg Lake District is called Galenbeck. The municipality includes the small village Kotelow, where the hunting lodge Kotelow is located.
Vacations at the Müritz that means for us rest, relaxation, wonderful excursions and quality time. We were guests at Ferienpark Müritz for a few days and enjoyed the autumn in the Mecklenburg Lake District.
You have to look very carefully on the map until you discover the small place Lexow. Idyllically nestled between meadows and fields, very close to Lake Plauer See and Müritz lies the manor house Lexow – an ideal place to spend a relaxing dream vacation.

The lake district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is not only home to countless native animals, 17 brown bears (as of 6/2019) have also found a new home here in theBärenwald Müritz.
The Müritzeum is located on the edge of the beautiful old town of Waren. The nature experience centre
offers an insight into the local animal and plant world on an exhibition area of over 2000 m². We visited the Müritzeum and I was thrilled by what was on offer on site.

We spent a few days in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in the area of the Mecklenburg Lake District. We explored this beautiful area in many different ways – by bike, by canoe, by steamer and we reached some places by car.

Malchow is a small town in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. We made a short stop and took a walk through the small town.
We are among the newcomers to “mushroom picking” and so it was a happy coincidence for us that we were able to go out for two hours with a mushroom consultant in the woods near Ferienpark Mirow.
